The Fogelberg discovery is located on Haltenbanken in the Norwegian Sea, about 20 kilometres north of the Åsgard field. The discovery was made in 2010 and delineated in 2018. The reservoir contains mainly gas, has high temperature and is situated at a depth of 4,300–4,380 metres.

The size of the Fogelberg discovery is about 130 mmboe in place volumes. Recoverable reserves are 21–61 mmboe. The selected development concept is a subsea tie-back to the Åsgard B facility. The plan for development and operation (PDO) is expected to be submitted in the second half of 2022.
