Martin Linge is located in the North Sea, 42 kilometres west of Oseberg. Martin Linge was discovered in 1978, and the plan for development and operation (PDO) was approved in 2012. The development is a fully integrated fixed production facility and a floating and loading unit (FSO) for oil storage.

Martin Linge came on-stream in 2021 and is fully electrified with power from shore.

The gas is transported to the Frigg UK (FUKA) pipeline and onto the Shell-Esso Gas and Liquid (SEGAL) terminal in ST.Fergus in the UK.
