Our history and goals

Who we are

Sval Energi is an exploration and production (E&P) company with activity on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Although we are a young company, we have since the start in 2019 positioned ourselves among the top producers in Norway.

Over the past years we have grown rapidly through acquisitions of companies such as Solveig Gas, Capricorn Norge, Edison Norge, Spirit Energy Norway, and Suncor Norge as well as acquiring the Martin Linge and Ekofisk asset package from Equinor. Through these acquisitions we have added significant competency, production, and resources to our portfolio.

We want to continue to develop our activity on the NCS and continuously look for opportunities to grow our portfolio and create value for our owners and society. Our goal is to become a top five producer on the NCS with safety as our number one priority and to minimise our environmental footprint.

The way we work

We continuously work to develop our position on the NCS and to maximise the value of our portfolio. To achieve this, we have developed three values to guide our efforts. We shall be nimble, sustainable and create value.

To us, this means:

Being nimble

– as in being agile and quick on our feet, keeping decision-lines short and empowering our colleagues.

Being sustainable

– as in balancing the production of oil and gas with continuous focus on reducing emissions and on decarbonization projects in response to expectations from society, our owners and ourselves.

Creating value

– as in producing oil and gas, but in parallel using our know-how and expertise to tap into new value chains.

And the basis for our way of working is high performing teams – although individuals may be brilliant, the only way to create success is through great teams.
